A Little About Me

 

I’ve been behind the chair since 1996, although becoming a hairstylist wasn’t exactly part of some big plan. I loved playing with hair, someone suggested I make a career out of it—and here I am, all these years later, still loving what I do.

 

I think part of what has kept me in love with this career is that it’s never boring. Every client is different, every head of hair is different, and there’s always something new to learn. That’s also why continuing my education is still so important to me. I believe experience matters, but there’s always room to learn, grow, and be inspired.

 

When you sit in my chair, I want you to feel like you can relax and simply enjoy some time for yourself. You don’t have to know all the right hair terms or come in knowing exactly what you want. I’ll take the time to listen to what you like, what you don’t, what’s working with your hair, and what isn’t.

 

My private, one-on-one salon setting gives us the time and space to talk about your hair without feeling rushed. Together, we can create something that not only looks beautiful when you leave the salon, but also works for you and your everyday life.

 

I specialize in customized color, painted balayage, grey coverage, and haircuts. More than anything, I enjoy creating hair that feels beautiful, wearable, and right for the person wearing it.

 

Outside of the salon, I enjoy the simple things—family cookouts, spending time with my husband and with my dog Billy and getting lost in a good book.

 

After being a stylist since 1996, I still genuinely enjoy coming to work, seeing my clients, and wondering what we’re going to create next.
